About this Blog:
This blog is our way to share the stories of Longwood students as they complete their summer internships. Click on any of the names you see on the right side of the screen to learn who they are, where they are, what they are doing and advice they have for you. Happy reading!
Internships are a valuable resource for exploring career options, gaining work experience and building your network of contacts. Students typically complete their internships around their sophomore or junior years. Sometimes students even complete more than one internship!
Employers today look for students who have internships on their resume as they know you have gained real-world skills and qualifications. Certain internships can even be your foot in the door for a full-time position at the organization/company.
If you have questions or need help with your internship search, please contact the Academic & Career Advising Center at 434-395-2063 or firstname.lastname@example.org. We encourage you to visit our office as well as our website: http://www.longwood.edu/career/22272.htm
